Where does Drive Me Bananas deliver?

Drive Me Bananas’ regular office fresh fruit delivery service is available in Houston, TX. We also deliver for special events, bulk orders, wellness events, one-time events, etc. Please send an email to team@drivemebananas.com if you have any questions.

Does my company need to provide baskets and/or bowls for the fruit? 

The fruit is conveniently delivered to your office in baskets and/or totes to the locations that you specify (e.g. break room, conference rooms, etc.) . We pick up the empty baskets/totes on the next scheduled delivery or within 7 days.

What fruits are in a typical basket during the Fall/Winter?

Apples, Bananas, Citrus, Pears, Grapes and Avocado

What fruits are in a typical basket during the Summer?

Apples, Bananas, Citrus, Avocados, Grapes, Peaches, Nectarines, Plums and Berries

How do you decide what fruits to deliver? 

Our goal is to consistently deliver the freshest available fruit that looks and tastes great. In order to achieve this, we typically provide our customers with in-season fruit e.g. in the summer, customers can expect Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, etc. and in the fall/winter, more of Apples, Pears and Citrus. We work closely with customers and constantly seek feedback to ensure that the fruit we deliver are a perfect fit for our customers offices.

Do you deliver bulk fruit e.g. whole cases of bananas, apples, pears, etc?

Yes, we do. Let us know what you want and we’ll take care of it.

Do you deliver cut fruit e.g. cut up watermelons, cantaloupes, etc.?

We only deliver whole, uncut premium fresh fruit

Do you ship the fruit to us?

No. The fruit is delivered directly to your office, by a Drive Me Bananas team member.

How does your service compare to us just buying the fruit ourselves?

We buy directly from farmers markets and wholesale so the quality and freshness of our fruit is higher than those you would find at your grocery store. Also our selection process is more rigorous. Besides, doing it yourself would require time and effort. Drive Me Bananas makes the process convenient - leave it to us.

Do I need to rinse/wash the fruit?

Yes. You should always wash fruits before eating.

How does billing work?

We e-mail you a monthly invoice which can be paid with a check, electronically via ACH or by credit card.

What is a serving?

A serving is a whole uncut piece of fruit e.g. a whole Apple, Pear, etc.

How far in advance should I place an order?

Ideally, orders should be placed at least one business day or 24 hours before your desired delivery date.

Does my organization need to sign a contract with you?

No. We do not enter into contracts with our customers. Our fresh fruit delivery service is based on earning our customers business every time we deliver. If you need to cancel, simply let us know two days (48 hours) before the scheduled delivery.
